Hired by a builder friend to work with his clients on coming up with a re-invisioned duplex. One half of the duplex for an aging parent and the other half for her son and his family. The goal was to make the mother’s space fully accessible while also expanding the connection between her and her son’s family space and providing improved access and interaction between the two spaces.
